Nintendo have not officially recalled the wrist straps for the controller for the Nintendo Wii, but they have announced that all future models will come with a stronger, more secure strap.

If you are an owner of a console purchased around the time of the launch, you can apply for a free replacement wrist strap on the Nintendo Site.

Worth doing, to save any damaged furniture while playing Wii Sports :)
